Comments on this site: Rainbows are spawning and should be finished in a couple of weeks. Water was a little off color but we each took a 20"+ bow on midge larvae.

Comments on this site: A guest and I fished the day and took several large rainbows, small browns, and one brook. There are some large rainbows, rather particular on this day but copper johns, pheasant tails and san juan worms seemed to get some attention. A couple of small browns took elk hair caddis at the surface, but otherwise all was below surface. A super day and wonderful hostess made the experience even better.

Comments on this site: Friday the 13th was lucky for him. First cast with a hopper/red copper john dropper set-up and a HUGE rainbow slams the hopper. It was kind of a half-prepared type cast and he wasn't really ready for this excitement right off the bat. It broke him off. Largest fish of the day was an 18" rainbow caught with an irresistable. Lot's of big fish. Landowner stopped by to say red and purple San Juan worms were the ticket now. Of course, he didn't have any-but still a good day.

Comments on this site: I caught two of the largest fish of my life and a few of the smallest fish of my life on this property. Elk hair caddis and purple? san juan worms. It's not a huge property so it won't be an all day proposition for two anglers. That's OK though it's close and you have one of the better chances at a trophy that I've seen lately. I can't fish all day anymore anyway, so it's perfect for old fat guys like me. Gene

Comments on this site: Lots of Lunkers... all types. Nice Brown landed on a green bead head wolly bugger. Used Hopper patterns with bead head droppers and sparkling san juan worms. These trout are big. Broke off 4x and 5x leader / tippet.... A fine line of playing with them and actually landing them. I took my 11 year old son with a broken hand.... still had a wonderful time thanks to a great Host family! Dan even let us use a couple of rain jackets and wrapped my son's cast in saran wrap to keep it dry during the raining afternoon and evening. Could not ask for more! Small property, but not boring. Lots of fish to see.... more difficult to hook up and eventually land! These are trophy fish!

Comments on this site: Caught 8 fish total (ranged from 6" brookies to two rainbows that went 20"+). Had best luck in side channel near the white metal bench. Fishing in the main pond was TOUGH - I never have good luck in stil water with cruising fish. No top water action, and those fish weren't interested in my buggers. A nice property overall.

Comments on this site: Pam and I fished for about 5 ours. It took us a half hour to scout out the property. fish in the stream portions of the property were way to spooky for a beginner like my wife so we mostly fished the lower pond. Between the two of us we caught a dozen or so small brook trout (7-10 inches) on dry dropper rigs using mostly small bead head nymphs size 18 various patterns. Largest fish of the day was a 17 inch bow caught on a pink San Juan worm. Nice people who own the property, and there are some very large trout.

Comments on this site: The stream was a little high. Only fished 1/2 day in the p.m. Landed eight fish, three of them were over 24". Two were caught on an olive WB, and the rest were on a Rainbow warrior and red SJW.
