Comments on this site: CLEAR SKIES, 72 DEGREES, WATER TEMP 65. TRIED VARIOUS STREAMERS WITH NO SUCCESS. SMALL NYMPHS (RS2, WD40, ETC)BELOW A BEAD HEAD NYMPH OR STONE FLY WORKED WELL IN RIFFLES, SEAMS AND TAIL OUTS. SEVERAL 20" AND SMALLER BROWNS AND SEVERAL LARGE RAINBOWS ALL CAUGHT IN THE DEEPER RIFFLES. DON'T USE TIPPETS SMALLER THAN 4X AS YOU'LL BREAK OFF IN THE FAST WATER. STRONG, HARD FIGHTING FISH. HIGH ON THE FUN FACTOR SCALE. ACCURATE CASTS AND DRAG FREE DRIFTS WERE ESSENTIAL. SMALLER BROWNS WERE RISING IN THE SEAMS AND TOOK DRY FLIES, SOME MAY HAVE BEEN WHITEFISH.

Comments on this site: First time on this property. Weather was fantastic-- no wind. Did not do exceptionally well nymphing, but did catch one 20" male and one 21" female on a s6 brown sculpin. My wife hooked a rather large whitefish that we didn't get into the net. This water is much deeper than we expected. The channel from the parking area to the convergence was pushing six feet deep, and the pool just below the convergence was 12 feet + ??

Comments on this site: Fished only from 4-6 PM. My 13 year old son got bored very quickly and decided catching frogs on the bank was more fun. Water was very warm and fish were rising, but sluggish. We each hooked one fish, but my son got impatient and we left just when I felt the fishing would improve soon.
