The Dover Legion Band played at Fourth of July parades, Memorial Day exercises and at other town events and special occasions.
On July 1, 1931 they entertained guests at a Legion Dance at the Dover Town House. Their repertoire included - "The Star Spangled Banner", "America the Beautiful" and "America", "The Grand March", "Our Leader" and the "Boy Cadet March". They also played popular music of the day - "Flower Belle", "Columbine", "Springtime in the Rockies", "Two Hearts" and "Three Blind Mice".
