Computerized Outsole Databases
The following agencies possess computerized programs which can search an unknown footwear
impression in an attempt to recognize the manufacturer, brand and model of the footwear.
Examiners requesting a search must first contact these agencies in order to receive
instructions on how to transmit the image of the footwear impression, and to comply with other
requirements before a search request will be performed.
