The goal of this site is to centralize many of the website links that deal with my hobbies of Virginia Travel, Hiking, Biking, Camping, Canoeing, History, and more generally, for the Virginia tourists who love to SIGHTsee, simply enjoying all the Sights (historical or natural) that Virginia has. Eventually I may add my personal accounts of visits to Sights in Virginia. Also look for future added information that I dig up in my numerous books relating to these Va Sights. I want to make it easier to find information and gather ideas about places to visit in this wonderful state of Virginia. Feel free to add this site as a link on your or your organization's home page. Let me know what you think of it by sending me e-mail below!!

Va.'s National Wildlife Refuges are run by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The National Wildlife Refuges provide terrific places to hike, bike, canoe, and more specifically, to sit back and enjoy nature. Just beware of the posted Hunting Seasons--I am sure you don't want lead poisoning in the form of buckshot. Virginia has it's own Wildlife Management Areas that are tun by the Va Dept. of Game and Inland Fisheries.
