This Club is a member in good standing of the American Kennel Club.

The objectives of this Club are to further the advancement of all breeds of pure-bred dogs which may be registered by the American Kennel Club.
To serve the interest of breeders and exhibitors of pure-bred dogs who reside in Ventura County, California, and to conduct dog shows, obedience trials and sanctioned matches under the rules of the American Kennel Club, in Ventura County, California, in such locations as may be designated by the American Kennel Club.
To educate interested parties in the various areas pertaining to the history, utility , proper care, and training of all breeds of pure-bred dogs.
