Okay! So it's been a million years since I rode a motorcycle. I found lots of information online to get me started. At the helmet sizing page I learned how to choose the right helmet. More than a hundred articles at Motorcycle tips and techniques are jam-packed with good information.

I read all the safety articles I could locate. "MSF Safety Tips" is especially good reading and I also recommend you check The Motorcycle Safety Foundation's riding courses for beginning, intermediate and advanced-skilled riders. In many states, you receive reduced insurance rates after completing the course. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation is a national, nonprofit organization sponsored by the U.S. distributors of BMW, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha motorcycles.

I've noticed that the more skin a woman shows, the higher the odds that she doesn't pilot her own motorcycle. Women riders choose clothing that is SAFE, comfortable, feminine and attractive (in that order). What's a lady rider to wear?
