for driving audit, control and compliance standards for 18,000 Operations
& Technology professionals worldwide. Scope of responsibility

day / $620BN Securities Settlements per day / $4.6 Trillion in assets
under custody) and Citigroup Global Markets ($66BN in Derivatives
activities per day / $770BN in funds transfer transactions per day)
activities and functions. Directed four Senior Vice Presidents in
the management of 140 professionals in all aspects of broker dealer
account reconciliation, registration/licensing and internal control.
Key accomplishments included:
- Achieved
a 92% decrease in Unsatisfactory Audit Report ratings issued over
a fifteen-month period through the development & implementation
of a comprehensive control assessment program in support of Operational
Risk and Regulatory Requirements across all Corporate and Investment
Bank Operations & Technology functions.
- Created consistent
dialogue and enhanced relationships with internal audit and critical
external regulatory agencies, including the OCC, Federal Reserve,
Securities & Exchange Commission and the New York Stock Exchange.
- Achieved
significant risk reduction including the satisfactory resolution
of over $66BN in aged (3+ years old) reconciling items with total
write-offs taken of < 1%.
- Directed
several reconciliation & control backlog activities associated
with various acquisitions, organizational consolidations and systems
conversions.
