We commence training with Puppy Kindergarten for puppies age 9 weeks to 14 weeks, and graduate up to advanced training, including off leash training and training for competition. The oldest dog that we successfully trained was 9 years old. It is never too soon or too late to teach your dog manners. Training your dog and setting rules are very important in the success of communicating with your pet. Remember, dogs are creatures of habit. Why not form good behavioral habits before bad habits occur, by being consistent with your rules.

This is a course in which the Dog is boarded with us & trained by our highly trained staff here on campus. This course is for very busy families or for people who just do not have the time to teach their dog manners. Some dogs have serious problems that require a professional dog trainer to solve. Once your dog is trained, we train you & family how to manage your dog and the correct voice & hand signals to use. While you are on vacation, your dog is here at camp being trained. This package course includes: (2) two weeks boarding, training daily, food (or you may supply your own brand), two private lessons while the dog is here, and a follow-up lesson a week or two after you have taken your dog home. We encourage the whole family to participate.

A five week course directed to your needs. We see you, your family and your dog once per week for (5) five weeks. You arrive and the training begins. The lessons are 45 to 50 minutes long with your own private instructor. You then go home and review your exercises & commands daily, returning the following weeks for review, and to learn new commands. This a course that the whole family to participate in the training of your dog.

Group classes begin with a small group of handlers & dogs that are taught the basic obedience commands. You are then responsible to practice at home and return weekly for (5) five weeks. The whole family is welcome to attend. The dog then learns to obey with many distractions. The courses available are Elementary, Advanced Elementary, Beyond Advanced, Preparation for the Canine Good Citizen Test, Registered Therapy Dog Testing, and Off Leash training.

COMPETITION TRAINING

We specialize in training & handling for A.K.C. competition in the conformation ring, as well as obedience from Novice to Utility. Training a dog for Sch H 1 through to Sch H 111 is also a specialized program geared towards competition. Competition training involves many months of intense training, dedication and learning how to properly care, feed and condition your dog.

PROTECTION TRAINING & FAMILY PROTECTION TRAINING

This course is a comprehensive training course for business owners, and owners who have a need for a properly trained dog for personal protection. We can evaluate your dog for this type of training, or you can purchase a fully trained dog from us. A fully trained protection dog will give you peace of mind. We will train you in the highly specialized course to handle your own dog.

BOARDING DOGS & CATS

Each dog has an outdoor kennel run, fresh water at all times, and their area kept immaculately clean. We have indoor facilities for small dogs, the elderly, and for cats. Playtime is an extra service that we provide to help make your dogs stay a pleasant one. We can walk, run, play or just cuddle with your dog, or play a game that he enjoys. We include brushing & cleaning of ears as part of playtime. All do~ and cats must be immunized up to date. ASK US WHAT IMMUNIZATIONS ARE REQUIRED.

DAY CARE

Day care is for puppies or adult dogs that need a little more attention, socialization or interaction with people on a daily basis. Day care is also for dogs that need medication during the day while the family is at work. Day Care is also for the lonely Geriatric dog who is alone for long periods of time during the day. Dogs are dropped off in the AM and picked up at the end of the day.

PLAYTIME

Playtime is a favorite time of day for your dog. This extra service provides the activities that are fun for your dog. Whether we walk your dog, brush your dog, play ball or throw a Frisbee, have playtime in the kiddy pool during the summer, or just give him or her some special private time, it certainly makes your dogs stay a pleasant experience. We feel dogs become more familiar with us, and look forward to returning to a place where they have the opportunity to feel part of a pack.

GROOMING & BATHING

We offer a wide selection of shampoos and dips. The shampoos today have a wide variety of flavors and scents. Many of the products are natural. We dip for fleas & ticks. We also take care of de-skunking, if your dog has been sprayed. A bath includes nail cutting & ear cleaning. Dips, de-skunking & trimming are extra.

MEDICATIONS

With instruction from your veterinarian, we can administer medications that your dog needs only a daily basis, or only on occasion. This service is an extra charge.
