Barbie's Victims
Here is a product of the Freedom of Information Act! A 76-page official document explaining the US Counterintelligence Corps' (CIC) relationship with Barbie after the war. It also discredits any rumors the US had anything to do with Barbie after 1951.
An article about the CIA's transactions with Nazis during the Cold War. However, I doubt the veracity of some of the author's claims.
A bibliography of Che Guevara that discusses Barbie's role in the Latin American guerilla wars of the 1960s and 70s. (French)
It's brief! This page has biographies of many other SS officers.
Well, this doesn't have much historical value but it does provide a solid minute or so of entertainment. Requires Shockwave plug-in.
Barbie's Defenders
Site provides detailed information about Barbie's infamous raid on the children's home in Izieu.
Site based on Serge Klarsfeld's book, French Children of the Holocaust.
An article from the Philadelphia Inquirer
The Philadelphia Inquirer published this article on Swiss Nazi Francois Genoud awhile ago. Genoud financed Klaus Barbie's defense team.
This document is a fine example of "revisionist" history. Basically its author, Garaudy, denies that the Holocaust was as bad as we think it is and harangues the poor reader about Zionist conspiracies. FYI: Garaudy's claims cannot survive the most basic historical scrutiny (e.g. they contradict German records of the Holocaust, which, by the way, are just as accurate as other German records) However, extremists like Jacques Verges (Gaurady's lawyer, and Barbie's lawyer in 1987) often cite Garaudy's claims to make their usual arguments.
A revisionist defends those who deny the Holocaust. The author of this tract, Robert Faurisson, really has his head up his ass, but he does provide a good example of a French academic who criticized Barbie's guilty verdict.
