I became frustrated when I carelessly dropped a 12 volt cable in my shack, and smoked a power supply.  I built this handy little device to clean up the distribution of 12 volt power to accessories in my station.  It was such a small project, that I almost didn't take the time to write it up as an article.  However, when I submitted the article to QST, the editors saw the device as an essential shack accessory, and an excellent project for beginners.

"Build a 12V Junction Box" was originally published in QST, August 1994, p54, and was subsequently published in the ARRL's 1996 Handbook and The Best of the New Ham Companion.

The web site shows a miniature version of the same device, with a number of fancy enhancements.
