Now that I’ve talked with many people about polyamory and monogamy, and talked with people who have read my poly-novel, I have a better appreciation of just how “different” polyness is perceived to be in the wider culture. This last Saturday a woman who has read my novel said it made known to her “a whole world she had never imagined existed.”
Society at large may find it very bizarre, but I find it wonderful to be loved by several people at once, who all care about me and aren’t jealous of each other. I love the way poly-partners care for each other. And I enjoy supporting my partners in their efforts to deepen their relationships with their other partners.
So different from the relationship-models we usually see in the mainstream media!
I like it more and more!
