Lillie Beavers was born into this world on Febuary 18th,1920. She was Born Again Spiritually in Jesus on Febuary 26th,1941. The Lord Jesus called her home on September 30th, 2000. Her testimony was sent in by her daughter.
My Testimony for Jesus~

This is my Testimony of Healing to the LORD.
On 2-26-1941 He healed me of a sickness that doctors didn't even know what it was. They give me up to die, and each day I grew weaker and weaker, and i had such a high fever all the time with this sickness, and i was unsaved at that time, but my precious mother was with me bless her heart. She is at rest now. She was a good true christian lady and she asked me, sis you are not saved, but do you believe that GOD heals? I said yes mother, i do know HE heals our bodies and i believe with all my heart. So she said; well sis the BIBLE says, "Pray one for another, and if anyone is sick call in the elders of the church and pray for them and if 3 people prays, agreeing on this they will be healed". So i am going to ask daddy to go get sister Jones, sister Teal and myself, and GOD is going to heal you, and save you too. And sure enough HE did and that was an experience i will never forget, when GOD healed my body, and i thank HIM each day. The wonderful things HE has done for me and HE is still doing good things for me.
Well i will finish my sermon, it was on 2-26-1941 in the late afternoon, they laid hands on me and starting praying, and it came like electricity going thru my body, and PRAISE THE LORD...HE TOUCHED me, and made me whole. I come up off that bed shouting and PRAISING THE LORD, for I knew I was healed. b When i come to myself, i was standing in mothers living room with my hands on JESUS picture. and thanking HIM for healing my sick body, and that is true words what THE LORD done for me, a sinner, and a very very sick person, and i want to say this. People say no one dies and comes back. I did leave this ol world and saw a new world, i was at that beautiful river Jordan, and that was the most beautiful clearest bluest water. I could see the bottom. this is my testimony for THE LORD.

Lillie Mae Beavers, an American Indian girl, married Curtis Abney at the age of 16. Curtis was English decent, in his twenties. She was always the lessor of the two and kept her place. She bore him seven children, that she would be quick to say, ONLY BY THE LOVE AND MERCY OF THE LORD, did she do all that she done, she openly and joyfully PRAISED THE LORD.
Never did she drive a car, she walked or rode the bus. She used a scrub board most of her life, sometimes coal oil lamps and at one time we had an out door bathhouse. She took in ironing, which she done so well, and so much of.
Never in my life did i not hear about JESUS!
Dad would not attend mothers church, so we walked, she walked and lined up her children, down the road we'd go, 4 miles, often carrying the youngest, or the older ones helping. Summer or winter, 4 miles we walked, Sunday night, Saturday night, Wednesday night, if we left early enough we got there before dark and always got a ride home, when service, ended 9 p.m. or 2 a.m. she put us kids to bed on the benches.(wooden)
i was next to the youngest, but never in my life did my mother strike me in anger, abuse me in any way, she hated drunkenness and profanity hate appears to me now as a strong word and that is the opposite of my mother, yet i know she so disliked it she wouldn't talk about it. She let her light shine for JESUS. She was kind, caring, and prayed for us and others. She had the most beautiful voice, i could hear hear over the whole church, and fine tuned for JESUS. she was joyful,and sweet spirit, and rejoiced in the LORD. Dad passed in 1970, mother lived on to 2000, she buried 3 of her own children-giving them to JESUS CARE........at 75 mother had a stroke and surgery to clear a major artery in the left side of her neck, the dr. said she be in intensive care 3 days and home in 7 to 10 days, well the next day she was in a room, and walking the halls, witnessing for JESUS and proclaiming how HE healed her. the dr. being rather moved by mothers faith, ask 2 of his colleagues, to stand there and listen, as mother kindly told her dr.that he was the LORDS instrument in repairing her artery, and assured the dr. that ALL THE GLORY WAS TO GOD! the dr.replied "i need all the help i can get" well mother was at home on the third day after surgery, with no damage from the stroke. 2 years later they said mother needed a bypass. mother told her 5 children, she would pray and for us to be there the next morning for prayer and she would tell us at that time (without the surgery there was no hope the dr.s said) the next day she said she had JESUS, and she was going to surgery, and she would be fine either way. She gave it all to HIM, She believed in devine healing. Well it changed in the operating room to a quad (4) by-pass with an aortic valve, need i tell you 10 days later she was home, but during her stay she was PRAISING THE LORD AND WITNESSING FOR JESUS. she was a walking testimony for the LORD. her faith i thought was enormous, really it was as a child, so excited about how her savior JESUS with her. SHE KNEW HER FATHER LOVED HER. at barely 79 she was told she had breast cancer, she rebuked and said take it off, the day they took her left breast, she was home at 1 p.m. eating banana pudding, the same day. a few days later with a nurse and a stainless steel cart, the dr. removed the stitches in the parking lot at the hospital. i always loved and honored my sweet mother, the last years of her life she stayed with my older sis a widow, and she looked after mother so well, and i had to work. before she went to the hospital the last time her prayers were answered, she and my sis moved in with me as we had plenty of room. everyday she'd THANK JESUS FOR LETTING THEM COME HERE AND WHEN SHE LEAVES HERE SHE'D GO HOME TO BE WITH THE LORD. everyday...for 19 days....mother went to the hospital and had surgery, came out in a semi conscious state, and on life support, we called the family, and i spent a night to love on her and say bye for now, the next night my sis stayed with mother for the same reason...we ask pastor Michael Pierce Sr. to come pray an anoint mother, and he went to his knees as i did when she prayed in the spirit. She was back asleep, the next night we had the life support removed and a few minutes later mother went home. You might ask how mother prayed in the spirit on life support with a tube down her throat, my only answer is ..ASK JESUS.....all her children mother loved dearly, yet mother and lynda were so close, everyone said lynda won't get over mother passing...well i am lynda, i wrote this and when i think of mother i PRAISE THE LORD, I PRAISE HIM...when no one could do no more here, JESUS TOOK HIS CHILD HOME....and the biggest letters on her head stone say"GONE HOME" 80 years, 7months,12days..70 decendents from this one christian lady. in closing i ask to explain..my mother was like she was because of JESUS CHRIST in her...IT WAS JESUS, TRULY IT WAS JESUS, AND THE GLORY WAS ALWAYS AND WILL ALWAYS BE HIS, HIS LOVE IS UNDENIABLE, AND HIS CHILDREN ARE UNDENIABLY HIS... GLORIFY HIM, for the only good and truth in us is JESUS....LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!

Lillie was a member of the "Gospel assembly of GOD", brother-pastor clyde patton sr. When she got older and stayed in Nacogdoches she attended " Grace Baptist church" pastor Bill Hunter. Mother spent a lot of time with me, coming to visit on Thursdays. Our pastor would come to pray with mother and share the word. Mother always seem to want a pastor for prayer near. It was also our pastor Michael Pierce sr. that was at the hospital with mother...

Mother was 11 days in the hospital before she passed. Danial took off work and stayed there. He slept in a chair by her, holding her hand.......asleep or awake..Lynda, Danial's mother..
This is Herold Daniel Abney, Lillie's son. He has a beautiful singing voice like his mother. He is a member of Grace Baptist Church. The pastor is Bill Hunter. This picture was taken at the church. When Jesus called Lillie home she left her children secure in Jesus Love. The separation is Only Temporary.
Mother, such tender memories I shared with you. We laughed and cried together. I cried for you, as I know you did for me many times, the day you were layed to rest. This is your great-great grandson, Coy Allen. He was born making me a granmother,Patsy.
GOD IS SO GOOD, so many blessing's flow......
Losing a loved one is not always easy.Sometimes we think it will be unbearable. Please, look at it this way. Losing a Lost loved one is what i feel would be unbearable. Knowing my mother was saved, YET, prior to her passing i Had to talk with Jesus, and no one else can be there with you, or for you, or that loved one, Like Jesus is.
Yes I Prayed! I said...
"JESUS IF YOU LEAVE MOTHER HERE, I WILL LOVE AND HONOR HER. JESUS IF IT IS YOUR WILL TO TAKE YOUR CHILD HOME, KNOWING I CAN NEVER LOVE HER AS MUCH AS YOU DO, LORD I WILL PRAISE YOUR NAME".....
When I think of her and pray, I have kept my word to Jesus. I Thank Him. I Praise Him. When you can do no more, when the dr. can do no more....
