WaveShow Details The Options space (on the left half of the screen, below the Menu) is shared by the Wave, Mixer, Midi, List, and Show dialog boxes. Clicking on one of the five buttons along the bottom row switches to a different dialog box.
The Wave Options dialog box contains Wave Processing, Graphics, and FFT Analysis options.
Use Mixer Options to select a sound source for Playing or Recording, and to adjust the volume.
MIDI Options lets you select a MIDI Device for the MIDI Keyboard, change the Program (instrument to be played by the MIDI Keyboard), and adjust the volume of the MIDI Keyboard.
The List dialog box displays all text output from WaveShow. During startup, WaveShow lists all MultiMedia Devices present in your computer and then lists details about all available Mixer components. Each time you open a Wave file, the characteristics of that file are listed.
The Show Options dialog box allows you to control the appearance of the Wave Graph and Magnitude Graph. You can choose colors for each channel (Left, Right, Sum, Difference) by clicking the Up/Down buttons beside each colored rectangle. The numbered Preset buttons instantly change all of the options to new values.
On the right half of the screen below the Menu,
the Actions dialog box is always visible. It contains often-used
controls, such as the Wave Source and buttons to control playback
and recording. ************************************************************ ************************************************************ © 2000 Warme Software <==> Email paulwarme@aol.com Last modified 08/15/00 |
