Heavenly father up above
Please protect this land I love
And all the people who dwell within
Until this battle You help us win

Protect our loved ones while on foreign lands
Guide and protect them with Your mighty hands
Guide our president and all those he leads
Lord please give them the wisdom they will need

I would like to make a request of all Americans.
If we could all take just a minute and say a short prayer at the same time everyday for the safety of our men and women and our allies who are putting their lives on the line to defend our nation.
like at 1pm Eastern time, which would be 12pm Central time... etc.
I'm sure that it would mean a lot to them knowing that we are praying for them.

This article in the Lowell Sun shows how important our prayers are for these men and women protecting our nation.
If you would like to post a prayer on this page for a loved one or friend who is in the service. I think that it will give people more of an incentive to pray for these men and women who need our prayers, by personalizing them
They not only need our prayers for protection of their bodies but of their souls as well. Satan is attacking our service men and women in their heart as well as their body. Please pray that God will armor them with The Helmut of Salvation, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Shield of Faith, the Sword of the Spirit, the Girdle of Truth (because Satan is a liar and the father of lies John 8:44)
PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR AND OUR ALLIES POW's AND MIA's; PRAY THAT GOD WILL PROTECT THEM WHILE THEY ARE IMPRISONED. AND PLEASE ALSO PRAY FOR THEIR FAMILIES WHO ARE WAITING AT HOME FOR THIER SAFE RETURN;

Please keep Pfc. Keith Maupin, 20 years old from Batavia Ohio in your prayers! He was taken prisoner on April 9th when his convoy was ambushed outside of Baghdad. Please pray that the Iraqie guerillas will release all prisoners in good health and soon!!!
Please keep Sgt Elmer Krause of Greensboro N.C. who has been missing in action since April 9th in prayer.
My fiance' Larry Fowler an E5 in the MP's is going to be deployed overseas on the 17th and will be there a year, even growing up in a Military family I never knew how hard this could or would be to have someone you want to spend your life with going into a situation that is so uncertain. My best friends Fiance' David Newsome an E6 in the MP's just got deployed overseas as well and we are here for each other for support, as tough as it may be for all of us and all of the families that have loved ones defending our country and others, we are so proud of our MP's and all of the Soldiers. After reading your page it makes me feel good to know that so many pray for our loved ones while they are putting their lives at risk, no matter what the cost. God bless you and thank you for making such a beautiful page for all of them. May God bless each and every one of our Soldier's and their families and watch over them each and every one.

Hi, My husband is deployed at the present time. He is a United States Marine. He will not be home until Feb. 2003. Our 3 children miss him very much. I also recieved some prayers for our service members and our nation in my email and thought it would be nice to include them here.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Although I may not have anyone one over their fighting for our country, I still ask that you protect them and keep their families wrapped in your loving arms as only you can. I asked that you guide our troops your way and keep them safe from all harm as only you can. We want to THANK YOU dear Heavenly Father for all that you have done for us. You lifted us up when we were down. You said that you would never leave us alone and we know that in our hearts, our minds, and in our souls that you are there with our troops every step of the way. Father God we have so much to be THANKFUL for, so very many BLESSINGS that we have received from you and we THANK YOU FATHER GOD. WE THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. We THANK YOU for allowing us to use this site to PRAY for our troops and for our nation. Please continue wrapping your ever loving arms around those families who lost loved ones on BLACK TUESDAY 9-11-01. This came in a request for help for our world missionaries -- religious and others -- eg: our Soldiers, Sailors, Air Force, Peace Corps volunteers, etc. With it came a lapel pin with a Cross and a Flag - I wish everyone could have and wear one of these.

We have no idea what these men and women are going through over there! That is why they so desperately need all of us to pray for them everyday!

That is one of my favorite poems I made because I
believe that the soldiers overseas are truly heroes in
my life. I believe that if they can protect our country,

world, but if terrorists think that they can stop us from

The Fall of Saddam
T'was two weeks before Christmas, And all through Iraq,
The people still worried that Saddam would be back.
The soldiers went out on their nightly patrol,
Capturing the bad guys was always their goal!
With raids seeming endless in the triangle Sunni,
We hoped that not all of Iraq was so looney!
We gathered the tribe of Saddam, in Tikrit,
And suddenly now they all started to snit!
They told of a farm where Hussein just might be
Odierno then called on our boys- from the great 4th ID!
More rapid than Baathists our soldiers they came,
And he whistled and shouted and called them by name
Now Delta, Now Rangers, Now Cavalry too!
On Green Hats, on Pilots, I need all of you!
Go to that farm and secure it right now!
Capture his ***- you guys know how!
Off went our soldiers under cover of night,
So stealthy, so quiet with no trace of light
While we back at home were eating our lunches,
Our boys on the ground were following hunches!
And then it was time for the raid to begin.
The first target came up -empty within!
Could it be our Intel was wrong once again?
No! Somewhere nearby is the wolf in his den!
And then, in a twinkling, camouflage torn away
In a hole in the ground did their quarry lay
Dazed and confused, right at them he looked,
Did the stupid old fool know his goose was now cooked?
He was dressed all in rags from his toes to his head,
And his beard was as matted as 12 day-old bread!
How the mighty had fallen, could this be Hussein?
One look in his eyes was to know he's insane!
Our boys got their man - how proud we all are
The relief in our country is felt near and far
A bath he has had now -yet he'll never be clean
Forever tainted with mass torture and his Fedaheen
To our soldiers we give our undying respect
You always give more than we ever expect
We hope you can have now a night with some fun
Your loved ones back home say- JOB WELL DONE!
