KERRY'S VOWS TO STEVE:

I am here. I have always believed you were out there. I sensed you and knew that you were real. A few times I thought I had found you. But I was so wrong. I wondered if I would ever be blessed with actually having you in my life. At a most unexpected time in a most unexpected way, suddenly you were there...now we stand here together. Alone I am a whole person able to find or create my own happiness. With you...I am not only whole but my heart and soul are overflowing with the healing of happiness and the energy of life and love. It is said that white is the color that symbolizes joy. It is only right that I come to you now in white, for with you my heart knows more joy than it has ever known, my mind more peace than I believed it could ever know, and my soul is more tranquil and free than I thought could be possible for me in this life. God has brought us together I have no doubt. It is my vow that I will do all within me to make our lives together, as this third person who is us, the one that God intends. With open arms and open heart I cherish the promise of sharing my life with you. For the first time I am with the one who feels the same. I do and I will love you in the truest, deepest, most inclusive meaning of the word. As you lift away the veil of time that has been between us, I vow... I will be here.

God grants to each of us certain capacities and abilities, based on His plans for our lives. In my case he did not give me the ability to divine your name, nor to imagine your face nor your smile. To me was not granted the power to predict the time or place that I would finally find you, nor the qualities you would possess. He knew better than to give me those abilities, for had He, I would not have been able to concentrate my attention on other tasks. He gave me the one, the only ability I would need when the appointed time had come. He gave me the ability to recognize you, and I DO! I have always loved you and needed you, though I could never imagine what you would look like or be like.But I recognize you, your eyes, your smile, your personality , all that you are. It's as if I had discovered a new color in the rainbow, the most beautiful color of them all, and I recognized it.

We stand together on the threshold of a dream of shared destiny, full of promise and joy, of a happiness greater than any we have known before. As I stand beside you, ready to cross that threshold hand in hand with you, I make these vows to you.I shall love you always with a giving, caring love, not a demanding one. I shall work with you to build a union based on mutual love, care,understanding and effort, ever striving to form a bond with you stronger than any obstacles we may encounter.
