This was a major developement. 3R has been one of the Hills more popular games. This in spite of the fact that at least four editions of the rules exist. All of the variants, eratta, play aids are incorporated into one package. Not everything could make the cut but most of it did. The developers were looking for a balanced game. A 64 page rulebook with 36 page appendix is 100 pages of dense printing is not plug and play.
