This card kit of the USS Tecumseh is 14 3/4" long and is displayed atop it's history sheet. A historical fact sheet is supplied with each ironclad kit. The Tecumseh was one of nine Canonicus Class monitors built by the Union Navy. Lost to a mine in the Battle of Mobile Bay the USS Tecumseh was one of four Union ironclads in Admiral David Farragut's fleet. His fleet which also included several wooden steamships was pitted against the lone Confederate ironclad CSS Tennessee.
