Alex Grennings Home Page
Alex is 9 years old and goes to the Wilson Central school in Ransomville, NY He has just begun to enjoy the excitment of collecting model and gas engines. This past year he attended 3 shows in New York and plans on going to several more next year.
The photo below shows his first engine, a 40 year old model 20R Jensen steam engine. This is an unbelievably well built model using an electric heater for the boiler. Another feature of this unit is the Dynamo and street lamp. Alex acquired this engine as a Christmas gift in 1999
The next photo shows Alex's 1 1/2 HP Economy. With the help of his dad, this engine was completely restored in the fall of 2000.
