2000 AD (Team) (neutral)
The UK's premiere science-fiction comic,
2000AD appeared in 1977 and was the first British comic to compete on a level with the popular American titles. It appealed to the Punk generation with it's dark and gritty science fiction oriented tales, set in a near future of post apocalyptic urban decay. Instilled with a particularly British sense of humour, 2000 AD has featured some of the most memorable characters in comics, including Judge Dredd, The Strontium Dogs, the ABC Warriors, D.R. and Quench, Nemesis the Warlock, Durham Red and Slaine.

JOHNNY ALPHA  (Search/Destroy Agent Alpha LE) ("2000 AD") (good)
Due to a Strontium storm, Johnny Kreelman was born with mutates eyes that can emit piercing Alpha rays. This enables him to see through solid objects and read the electromagnetic patterns in a man's brain to tell if he is lying or not.  Pursecuted by his father for his mutation, Johnny ran away to join the Mutant Army rebelling in the name of Mutant rights. Johnny led guerrilla raids against mutant labour camps set up by his own father who was later discredited and forced to resign. The anti mutant laws were eased and when the Galactic Crime Commission set up it's Search / Destroy agency of interplanetary bounty hunters, Johnny joined up and the group became known as the Strontium Dogs. He partnered up with Wulf Sturnhammer to track down some of the galaxy's worst scum like Stix and Bubba and Schnicklgruber.

ANGELUS (Unique) ("The Darkness") (bad)
For 900 years, the Angelus and the Darkness have fought each other, requiring human hosts to continue their struggle. After Jackie Estacado destroyed the Angelus' previous host, the evil energy possessed Mrs. Franchetti, the wife of Jackie's Mafia Don and adopted uncle. Mrs. Franchetti had spent the last 20 years in a coma and while the Angelus normally takes over the personality of its host, this time Mrs. Franchetti's furious personality surfaces as she seeks revenge for the torture of her lover at the hands of her jealous husband. Leading her gang of hell-bent angels, the Angelus can fly and wields powerful magic in its single-minded goal to destroy the Darkness once and for all. Allies: None Enemies: Darkness, Witchblade

APHRODITE IX (Aprhodite LE) ("Aphrodite IX") (good)
Beautiful and deadly, the green-haired android known as Aphrodite IX is programmed to kill and forget. Her memory is erased 15 minutes after she completing a mission. Originally a sexbot, this beautiful bounty hunter is employed by a mysterious organization. Now assisted by the unsavory Burch, she has found herself entangled in a web of intrigue. Aphrodite is proficient in numerous weapons and can take extensive damage before needing repairs. Allies: None Enemies: None

ARASHI (Masahiro Arashi LE) ("Shi") (bad)
Masahiro Arashi was the Yakuza lieutenant who murdered Ana Ishikawa's brother and father. Now twenty years later, and hunted by the vengeful Shi, Arashi realizes that his greatest battle is approaching. Having grown soft, the shock of life and death combat against his enemy helps give him back his fighting edge. Allies: Death Demon Enemies: Shi

ASLEIGH (US) (Princess Ashleigh LE) ("Scion") (good)
Youngest child of King Viktor of the Ravens, Ashleigh champions the cause of the Underground, people who wish to free the Lesser Races from a life of unending servitude. She enlists the aid of Ethan after helping him escape the Raven dungeons, and may harbor deeper feelings for him. Allies: None Enemies: Bron

ARWYN (US) ("Sojurn") (good)
Arwyn returns from archery practice to find her home in the city of Gerrindor in flames and her husband and daughter murdered by Mordath's troll army. Swearing revenge, Arwyn seeks out Mordath's castle to kill the dark lord. Though a capable fighter with a sword and an excellent archer, she is captured. In the dungeon, she meets Gareth and the two escape with the help of Neven the wizardess. She is quested by Neven to find the five pieces of Ayden's arrow; the only weapon that can destroy Mordath once and for all. Allies: None Enemies: None

ARWYN (Unique) ("Sojurn") (good)
Cornered by Mordath's trolls, Arwyn is rescued by the mysterious Neven. The wizardess gives her Ayden's Bow. The bow turns normal arrows into fiery and explosive projectiles that can shatter stone. Neven charges Arwyn to recover the five fragments of the arrow that slew Mordath three hundred years ago. Only when the arrow is reassembled, can the dark lord be defeated and the Quin set free. ARWYN (and KREEG) (Wizard Exclusive LE) ("Sojurn") (good)
A gift from her husband, Arwyn's dog Kreeg is her constant companion. "Smarter than an average dog", Kreeg is a fierce fighter and has saved Arwyn's life on more than one occasion. Allies: None Enemies: None

BAJOUNTE-KA (LE) ("Sigil") (bad)
A crew member of the Saurian battle cruiser Makruthe, Bajounte-Ka was part of the boarding party that invades Samadahl Rey's ship, the Bitterluck. He and his partner Elder Tau helped capture and tried to execute JeMerik Meer. After several misattempts to kill him, JeMerik finally fell into predator-filled waters. Bajounte-Ka managed to avoid a similar fate by informing Tchlusarud that his foe finally gone. Allies: Saurian Trooper Enemies: Samadahl Rey

BOON SAI HONG (US)
("Way of the Rat")

Known as the Jade Rat, Boon is a thief in the city of Zhumar who gets more than he can handle when he steals two mysterious items: The Book of the Hell of Hungry Dragons, a portal to the underworld itself; and the Ring of Staffs, which makes the wearer an instant expert in staff fighting. Accompanied by the talking monkey Po-Po, Boon finds himself chased by a vast array of enemies; from the crimelord Boss Tiger to Imperial Judge X'ain, all hell-bent on recovering the mystic items. When Boon defeats the Great Bhuto Khan in single combat, he wins the Ring of Blades. The new ring grants him mastery over blade weapons as well as the enmity of the Silken Ghost who claims ownership of the ring. From Mike Mignola's "Hellboy" series. Established in 1944 by Professor Bruttenholm, the Bureau of  the Research of Paranormal Defense battling the horrors of the supernatural. Ironically, some of its most noted agents are fearsome creatures who fight on the side of good including; Hellboy, Abe Sapien, Roger the Gollem and the pyrokenetic Liz Sherman.

BRON (US) ("Scion") (bad)
The cruel heir to the Raven throne, Bron's sworn enemy is Ethan, who accidentally scarred him on the day of his ritual combat symbolizing his entry into manhood. In his frenzied thirst for power, Bron killed his own father to ascend to the throne and blamed the death on his own sister, Ashleigh. When he fought Ethan and seemingly killed him, he believed all his problems were over and could attend to the war between his empire and the Herons. Now his sister is aiding his enemy and continues the fight against him! Like many "First-chosen," Bron has remarkable powers and is an expert swordsman. Allies: None Enemies: Ashleigh

ABBY CHASE ("Danger Girl") (good)
Beautiful Abbey Chase is many things: an archeologist, an expert on mystic artifacts, a sharp-shooter. Abbey decided to put her skills to good use and took up an offer from the government to form the Danger Girls; a group of sexy and deadly spies that fight against the evil plots of the Hammer Empire. ABBY CHASE (Unique) ("Danger Girl") (good)

Starting in 1994, Billy Tucci began the adventures of Ana Ishikawa, the female warrior known as "Shi." Shi's battle against the Yakuka boss Arashi grew as Shi teamed up with (and against) Tomoe, Cyblade, Witchblade, and Daredevil!

CROSS GEN (Team) (neutral)
Founded in 1998, Cross Generation Comics (known as Cross Gen) chronicles the adventures of "sigil-bearers." The sigil, a round, red and gold mark is the link to the power each sigil-bearer wields. Something like a tattoo, the sigil appears on whatever area of the body the sigil-giver placed it, or wherever it was transferred to by touch, as in the case of Sephie’s sigil. The sigil grants great power, from flight to energy bolts to matter transformation. It glows when the power is used, and can change from red and yellow to dominantly one color or the other, depending on the nature of the sigil-bearer and the situation. Many of the sigil bearers, like Samadahl Rey and the Mystic Giselle attempt to use their great power for good, but the villains Bron and Mordath both bear blood red sigils to show their true allegiance to evil.

CYBLADE (Unique) ("Cyblade") (good)
Cyblade is a cybernetically enhanced mutant. Her mutant ability allows her to psionically trigger "blades" of electromagnetic energy which can be thrown. After being kidnapped as a child by the evil organization Cyberdata, Cyblade is implanted with false memories, leading her to believe she is the last in the line of a family of fictitious European royalty. She acts as a Cyberdata agent but after having a "brain box" removed, she realized her true origins. She helped form the group Cyberforce, a team she currently leads.Allies: Shi Enemies: None

DANGER GIRL (Team) (good)
From J. Scott Campbell's "Danger Girl" series. Four women, Sydney Savage, Natalia Kassle, Silicon Valerie and the stunning Abbey Chase, each with their own special talents and skills have been brought together by the enigmatic, former MI-6 agent known only as Deuce. Jackie Estacado was raised to be a hit man and on his 21st birthday, he was sent by his mafia family to kill Sara Pezzini, the wearer of the Witchblade. To Jackie's dismay, he became possessed by its natural adversary; The Darkness. While wielding this ancient power, Jackie can create anything, from weapons to goblin-like "Darklings" that do his bidding... but his creations turn to dust when exposed to sunlight. Even worse, he must remain celibate since the power of the Darkness immediately passes on from father to son at the moment of conception.
