ARKON (Unique)

An Imperion from the extra-dimensional world of Polemachus, Arkon the Magnificent
learned his planet was doomed - the only way to save it was to recharge its
rings by an atomic explosion. Arkon manipulated the Scarlet Witch into
transporting himself to Earth, kidnapping her and a group of atomic scientists
who built him an atomic device. The Avengers managed to stabilize Polemachus
before he could detonate it. Arkon's militaristic tendencies drive him to
conquer other worlds - almost causing war between three extradimensional
worlds. Despite this, Arkon has also sought help from the heroes of Earth
such as Black Knight, Storm and Photon. Arkon currently rules Polemachus
with his love, the villainess Thundra by his side. Arkon is an excellent
combatant who throws thunderbolts that cause devastating explosions and other

BARON STRUCKER (Unique)
(bad) Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker
was the leader of Nazi Germany's Death's Head Squadron who battled Sgt. Fury's
Howling Commandos during World War II. Strucker created the Satan Claw, a
metal gauntlet that gives great strength and can fire a powerful electrical
blast. After WWII, he formed the terrorist group
HYDRA. Through HYDRA, Strucker
oversaw many operations until he was killed by his own Death-Spore Bomb.
Several of his android duplicates showed up over the years to torment Captain
America and SHIELD. However, Strucker was far from dead, having been rescued
by Baron Zemo. His exposure to the spore left him with a lethal touch and
the ability to heal most wounds.

BEETLE (Abner Jenkins LE)

Abner Jenkins created an armored suit with suction-fingered gloves that allowed
him to climb walls and fire "electro-bites." Retractable wings allowed the
Beetle to soar into action against his enemies; the Human Torch and Spider-Man.
After a stint in prison, Beetle leased himself to Justin Hammer where he
battled Iron Man, Daredevil and Spider-Man - using the profits from these
encounters to upgrade his armor. He developed a sophisticated battle-computer
that allowed him to anticipate his opponent's every move. But even that wasn't
enough to keep him out of jail. There he was recruited by Egghead into the
Masters of Evil. He remained with the team when they became the Thunderbolts
and took on the heroic identity of Mach-1.

Blackagar Boltagon is the king of the superior race known as the Inhumans.
As if the ability to fly and punch a super-strong "master blow" isn't enough,
the sound of Black Bolt's voice can create destructive sonic shockwaves -
the merest whisper can demolish a city
block.

BULLSEYE (Lester LE)

After a violent and troubled childhood, Lester learned he possessed an ability
to throw any projectile with deadly aim. In his hands, any object, from a
pen to a playing card, can become a deadly weapon. After a stint in the military,
Bullseye started a life of crime, beginning a never-ending battle against
his hated foe Daredevil. After one near-lethal fight, Bullseye had his broken
body laced with the unbreakable metal adamantium. Bullseye has killed two
of the crime-fighters lovers: Elektra and Karen Page and Daredevil returned
the favor by carving a target into Bullseye's forehead.

CAPTAIN MARVEL (II)/PHOTON/PULSAR (Monica Rambeau LE)

When harbor patrol captain Monica Rambeau was exposed to an experimental
dimensional device, she gained the ability to transform herself into any
electromagnetic energy including light, heat, microwaves, lasers and holograms.
She can fly at the speed of light and pass through solid objects. After serving
as an Avenger, Monica gave up the Captain Marvel name to the Kree Genis-Vell,
becoming Photon. When Genis later took the Photon name, she renamed herself
Pulsar. Monica eventually retired from super-heroics but her retirement was
short-lived as she has recently re-emerged as the leader of the
NextWave.

CHARCOAL (Unique)

Young Charlie Burlingame's father was a member of the terrorist group, the
Secret Empire. When Arnim Zola discovered that Charlie had genetic potential
to develop superhuman powers and transformed the boy into Charcoal, the Burning
Man. Charcoal first fought the Thunderbolts, but joined the team. Charcoal
can transform himself into a being composed of burning charcoal which can
become as hard as a diamond. He can separate and track his body parts and
has reformed himself after being shattered by the villain Graviton.

CLONE SAGA (Event)
Peter Parker was shocked to learn his college science professor, Miles Warren,
was actually the criminal known as the Jackal. But it was bigger surprise
to learn that Warren had cloned Spider-Man and his girlfriend Gwen Stacey!
Spidey defeated the clone and the Jackal but his past caught up with him
years later when the Spider-Man clone resurfaces, claiming to be the original
Spider-Man! The clone took the name the Scarlet Spider and fought alongside
Spider-Man. The Jackal eventually returned, this time with an army of Spider-Man
clones! |

COUNTER-EARTH (Location)
Orbiting the sun counter to our own Earth, the first Counter-Earth was created
by the High Evolutionary where he conducted his genetic experiments. It was
visited by many of Earth's heroes but was destroyed by the Infinity Gems.
A second Counter-Earth was destroyed by Thanos. A third Counter-Earth was
created by Franklin Richards after many of Earth's heroes vanished in the
battle against Onslaught. Dr. Doom conquered it, rechristened it Planet Doom.
When the Thunderbolts were accidentally transported to Counter-Earth, they
spent a year there, helping make sweeping reforms and becoming the planet's
heroes. When the Thunderbolts learned how to return back home, Jolt stayed
behind to fight at the side of the hero team, the Young Allies. |

DALLAS RIORDAN (Bystander)

The granddaughter of the hero Citizen V, Dallas Riordan was a New York mayoral
aide assigned as city liaison to the Thunderbolts. She eventually became
close to the team and even dated team member Atlas, but when the Thunderbolts
were revealed to be super-villains in disguise, Dallas was fired. She joined
the V-Battalion as a field operative but was forced to quit after being framed
by Justine Hammer as the Crimson Cowl. After Atlas died and transformed into
ionic energy, the two lovers merged - granting Dallas ionic powers. The two
travelled to Counter-Earth where Atlas gained a new body and Dallas gained
new powers. They have returned to our Earth where Dallas now operates with
the Thunderbolts as the heroine Vantage.

DAREDEVIL (Rookie)

When Matt Murdock lost his sight saving a blind man from radioactive waste,
he gained super-sensitive senses that allowed him to "see" by radar, hear
heartbeats and feel the faintest touch. While Matt was training under the
martial artist Stick, his boxer father, "Battlin'" Jack Murdock, was murdered
by mobsters. Fashioning a costume from his father's yellow boxing robe, Matt
avenge his father's death. Not content to fight for justice in the streets,
Matt also crusades against injustice in the courtroom as a lawyer.

DAREDEVIL (Experienced/Veteran)

Matt Murdock lost his sight but gained super-sensitive senses that allowed
him to "see" by radar, hear heartbeats and feel the faintest touch. Martial
arts training honed his super-senses which he used to battle crime against
such threats like Kingpin, Bullseye and Mysterio. Despite his desire to do
good, tragedy has stalked Daredevil's career beginning with the death of
his father and continuing with his girlfriends Elektra and Karen Page and
now his partner and best friend, Foggy Nelson.

DEATHLOK (good)
In an alternate reality, Colonel Luther Manning "died" in battle in 1985.
He awoke in the body of the experimental cyborg known as Deathlok the Demolisher.
Armed with a laser pistol and possessing a computer augmented cybernetic
body, Deathlok battled against the evil corporate and military regimes of
that post-apocalyptic universe. Deathlok eventually encountered time-travelling
heroes Spider-Man and Captain America. Deathlok was pulled to Earth 616 by
the Fixer and Mentallo where he was studied and copied by the Roxxon corporation.
After many adventures, he finally returned to his own time-line to ponder
his existence and struggle to not lose his
humanity. Allies: Captain

ELECTRO (bad)
After lineman Maxwell Dillon was struck by lightning, he was transformed
into a living, electrical capacitator, able to throw lightning, absorb
electricity and "ride" on bolts of pure lightning. Calling himself Electro,
Dillon began a criminal career but was defeated by Spider-Man. Whether robbing
a bank or working as a gun for hire, Electro's criminal attempts to gain
wealth and power have been stopped by Daredevil, Captain America, and the
Fantastic Four. He was a member of the Sinister Six and recently headed a
mass breakout at the super-prison, the Raft.

FALCON (Sam Wilson LE)

Sam "Snap" Wilson was a criminal who could communicate telepathically with
a bird called Redwing. Crash-landing on Exile Island, Wilson was found by
the Red Skull who set him up to become Captain America's partner - with the
intention of using Wilson as a future tool against him. However the Falcon
became a hero. The Black Panther created a harness which allowed him to fly.
Cap and the Falcon had a long partnership and Falcon eventually went solo
and abandoned his secret identity, finding a new ally in police Sgt. Tork.
When the Falcon was drafted into the Avengers by Henry Peter Gyrich, he quit
when he learned he was the team's "token." He has since teamed up with both
the Avengers and Captain America in times of need.

FIXER (II) (bad)
Paul Norbert Ebersol is a brilliant inventor who, as the Fixer, worked for
HYDRA and the Masters of Evil - where he served as Baron Zemo's right hand
man. A partner of Mentallo, embarked on many schemes including the takeover
of SHIELD's headquarters. When the team became the Thunderbolts, Fixer changed
his name to Techno. While the Fixer, Ebersol carried an arsenal of electronic
jamming devices, guided missiles, flying discs and brain-controlling pods.

Formed by the Wizard to be the evil opposites of the Fantastic Four, the
Frightful Four has had many villains as members of the team including: Trapster,
Sandman, Medusa, Thundra, Klaw, Titania, Hydro-Man, Dragon Man, Electro,
Constrictor, Taskmaster, and Deadpool.

FORGE (Unique)

The mutant known as Forge served in the Viet-Nam war where he lost his leg
and hand and had them replaced with cybernetic ones. Forge's mutant ability
allows him a superhuman inventive talent for creating technology. He was
commissioned Henry Peter Gyrich and the US government to create devices to
detect the shape-changing alien Dire Wraiths and a neutralizer that could
deprive any superhuman of their powers. The neutralizer was accidentally
used against the X-Men Storm. The two fell in love during her recovery but
when she learned Forge had created the device, Storm left. When Gyrich intended
to use the neutralizer to eliminate the superhuman powers of every being
on Earth, Forge and the spaceknight Rom aimed the device at the Wraith's
homeworld, Wraithworld and saving the universe from the threat of the Dire
Wraiths. Forge destroyed all of the neutralizers. Forge also possesses mystical
abilities which he used to banish the Adversary. He has since worked with
Mystique and X-Factor.
