THE SOUNDS OF PORT CHARLES

Our sound wavs here are temporarily inactive as the service we were storing them on shut down, and we are still trying to find adequate space elsewhere. In the meantime please visit our GH/PC Nurses' Ball Page which has sound wavs for most of the following on it. Thank you.

Finally, here it is, your favorites; The Greatest Hits of Port Charles and that Rockin' General Hospital. These are some oldies, but goodies.

Our first hit is by GH's first Doctor, Steve Hardy. Here at the Second Nurses' Ball in 1996, John Beradino hails backs to his roots as a baseball player to sing "You Gotta Have Heart", to Steve's adorable grandson, Tommy. (629k)

Also at the Second Nurses Ball in 1996 Mary Mae Ward sings "Midnight Train" with the help of her "pips" Justus, Luke and Lucky. (614k)

And at the Third Nurses Ball in 1997 we had very special guest Janis Ian singing "When Angels Cry", bringing everyone to tears because Stone had passed away during the year. (595k)

Well, Tony was majorly gone on Carly Roberts, whom he didn't know was his wife's daughter. He wrote this ballad for her "Carly's Song" to clearly demonstrate his mid-life crisis. (647k)

In a supremely creepy moment, Dr. Dorman (Tuc Watkins) sings "Que Sera Sera" just before being murdered in the morgue. (394k)

At the Fifth Annual Nurses' Ball in 1998, Lucy and the Girls sing Big Spender and raise quite a bit of money by passing their hats. (508k)

At the Fourth Nurses' Ball Edward lures Emily up on stage to perform Together at Last along with Amber's real life Dad, Russ, posing as the ice cream vendor. (467k)

Next (no promises on when that'll be) selections from the 1999 and 2000 Nurses' Balls.

Samples of songs are being used here without permission and we are making no profit whatsoever by using them. We urge you to purchase these songs in their entirety, whenever possible, from their legal sources, which sound much better than our little computer wavs anyhow.
