Tintin and Captain Haddock

Tintin and his friends are from the French comic strip, "The Adventures of Tintin" by Hergé

Here you meet Tintin, the main chatacter

Tintin is a young European reporter who goes on all sorts of adventures. He always seems to get into some sort of danger in each story. He had his first debut in "Tintin in the Land of the Soviets". Tintin has always been easily recognized by his tuft of hair that sticks up, his eyes, simple little dots and the little curve of a nose. He is smart, and has the ability to solve any mystery that he stumbles on.

Here you meet Snowy

Snowy is a small white fox terrier. Snowy is the main joke making character. He always makes short little remarks like "keep your eyes open, Tintin!" when Tintin bangs into a streetlight pole. After snowy says this he usually ends up banging into a trash can himself. Snowy is very loyal to Tintin, alcohol and bones!

Now you meet Captain Haddock

Captain Haddock is an alcohol-loving sea-captain. He can be known to have a bad temper. The captain first came into the world of Tintin in "The Crab with Golden Claws". The Captain's ancestor was once a captain who was boarded by a angry pirate. Haddock's ancestor stole the pirates treasure and then hid it. Haddock ends up finding it in the house where the evil Bird brothers lived. It later turned out that this house belonged to Haddock himself. He is a (rich) loving companion to Tintin.

Now we meet Thompson and Thomson

These two detectives/twins often join Tintin in his adventures, or they were given a false lead planted by one of Tintin's enemies so they are forced to arrest him. they can be told apart by there mustache. Thompson (with a "p") has a more pointy mustache than Thomson. When they go undercover they try not to stand out, but their costume is always completely unlike what everyone there wears. So they end up having a gigantic crowd following them.

Now we meet Professor Calculus

The professor is a very bright professor. He is almost deaf, but claims to only be a little hard of hearing in the right ear. He is interested in science, botany, and dowsing. Calculus first appears in the story "Red Rackham's Treasure". He was an inventor who was trying to get Captain Haddock and Tintin to use his submarine. He had also invented other things like a wall-bed, a clothes-brushing machine and a machine to put bubbles into water.

Now we meet Bianca Castafiore

Bianca is also known as the "Milanese Nightingale". She is a world renowned singer. who has two companions, her maid Irma and her accompanist Igor Wagner. She often meets Tintin and Haddock on their adventures. She never can get Captain's name right, for example "Captain Fatsock" or "Captain Drydock" or "Captain Hopscotch".

Now we meet Nestor

Nestor was the Butler to the evil Bird brothers, and tried to kill Tintin and Captain when they were trying to capture the Bird brothers. Tintin realized that he was only being loyal to his masters so he let Nester be the Captain's butler. He is loyal and very kind to all.

Now we meet Jolyon Wagg

Jolyon is a very persistent worker of the Rock Bottom Insurance agency. He also likes to be a sponsor of charity funds. Whenever someone doesn't get there things insured at his business he will get very angry. He also always says: "so I said to my self 'Jolyon,' I said '...'". he is the perfect annoying character.

now we meet Mr. Rastapopoulos

Mr. Rastapopoulos is the millionaire tycoon, king of Cosmos Pictures. Not only that, but he is an evil crook and one of Tintin's life-long enemies.
