Hartwell was home to
Richard and Mary Hodgskins Winmill and William and Mary Spriggs Winmill in
the late 1700s and early 1800s. They were tenants of the Duke of Grafton.
They ran a farm, brewery and pub in Hartwell. They home and the pub are
