Green Flag Pits begin on Lap 47
CAUTION #1-LAP 64--Debris on the track
--Sterling Marlin's power steering fitting broke. Lost positions in
pits.
Dale Jarrett lost a motor on lap 85
RED FLAG--------
CAUTION #2 Lap 85--Bill Elliot was involved in another horrible fiery
crash.
Kyle Petty got in some oil from Jarrett's motor and lost control.
Dale Earnhardt and Mike Dillion (in the #31 for Skinner) were also
caught up in this wreck.
Bill Elliot did walk (with EMT help) to the ambulance. He was
air lifted to Loma Linda Medical Center, they feel Bill will be okay, he
does have bruises on his chin and chest.
Pits Open---
Earnhardt and Dillion get major work done.
Ricky Rudd staled in the pits. The clutch pedal broke. He will
have to be pushed out of the pits, but he will be okay on the track as
he has a Jerico Trany.
Green Flag restart Lap 87--Dale Earnhardt stayed on the lead lap.
Kevin Lapage is behind the wall, not sure why.

Rusty ran out of gas as he pitted.
CAUTION #3-Lap 144 Dick Trickle hit the wall and spun, Just as pits
stop are almost completed.
Ernie had to go to the end of the row since he pitted before the pits
opened.
Green Flag restart Lap 152--
Nemecheck was getting ready to pit due to a flat when....
CAUTION #4-Lap 153 Derrick Cope hit the wall in turn #2, Derrick reports
he is okay.
Joe Nemecheck spun into the infield no caution. He did not have
a flat as previously reported, they are unsure of the problem.
Bobby Labonte--Dropped a valve on lap 180.
CAUTION #5-Lap 213 Randy LaJoie spun into the infield after hitting
the wall.
Restart on Lap 218
Michael Waltrip Brushed the wall in turn 2, no caution.
Dale Earnhardt in 8th position after starting last and getting involved
in that big wreck.
CAUTION #6-Lap 226 Kenny Schrader, Jimmy Spencer, Steve Grissom, Ted
Mustgrave, Jerry Nadeau, and John Andretti were all involved in a multicar
wreck.

From the Hospital--- Bill Elliott reports this wreck was harder than
dega's. They expect he will be released tonight, if they can find a jet
to fly him home.
Rusty Wallace lost a cylynder with 14 laps to go (Penske motor
I believe, not sure) Then lost the motor.
