HERES A RACE CAR>>>>>>>The announcers are really nutty on the dish.
Making strange beeps and bleeps, laughing at themselves. If you can
afford it I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BIG DISH FOR ANY SPORTS FAN!
"Now It is time to get nervous Benny", says Ned, and Benny replies
"Happy Happy Happy"!...
11AM On Time the race coverage begins!!!!!! SUN, I SEE THE SUN!
It is cold and windy, but they are ready to go, go, go, !!!
Ned Jarrett, Benny Parsons (my fav) and Bill (Jenkie) Jenkins are announcing
this rain delayed race from the booth.

Wally Dallenbach is out with the flu (as many of you who didn't work
or go to school today, I am sure <Wink>)
Opps change that, he deceided to start the race and see how he does,
But Sterling Marlin is standing by, if needed.

Caution #1 -- at lap #13 Gary Bradberry lost a rod.
Caution #2 -- Lap 15 Mike Skinner hit the Wall HARD (Like Park when
he wrecked) he is Okay and net is down, Thank God. he got out on
his own then sat down next to the car, then dropped to the ground. (moving
around). This will serve as the Mandatory caution at lap 25.
MIGHT have another mandatory caution at lap 50, but tire wear has been
good. Andretti leading again (no pit) many cars out of pit sequence.
Skinner is alert.
Todd Bodine screamed up from 20th (after pit) to 5th position in about
20 laps.
Wally Dallenbach lost 2 laps--Tire went down.
Caution #3 Mandatory--Lap 51.
Rudd has some sort of (suspension?) problem, he just made it back out
on the lead lap. Cope only took on 2 tires, he fell back fast.
GREEN FLAG....
Gordon was in 11th position, he went into the pits, way off sequence,
under green for 4 tires. Now he is held for speeding down pit road.
He lost 2 laps. Gordons right rear was shot. But now some of
the leaders are also starting to pit. These were unschedualed, only
been about 30 laps. Spencer is in, hood is up. Lost motor.
He went behind the wall. Joe Nemecheck also came in, right rear was
showing cords. (NOT GOOD) 86 laps into this 35 lap event, and Benny
said during a commercial, "I guess there tearing those tires up".
Dale Earnhardt had a 22 second ,,,4 tire pit.
DW went behind the wall?
Schrader held for speeding in the pits.
Jarrett's car fell off the jack.
Geoff Bodine stalled in the pits.
Kenny Wallace right rear tire changer fell.
Pit Sequence is now over.
Mark Martins tire wear HORRIBLE, they literally are tearing.
((Possible rain))
Caution #4 lap 119 RAIN ((CURSE WORDS)) light shower
Dallenbach got out, Marlin got in.
Earnhardt is saying the track is FULL of oil
Greg Sacks lost 3rd gear.
Restart lap 133
Sterling Marlin took Dallenbachs #46 car behind the wall.
Drivers are really complaining of rain JUST 4 1/2 laps from 1/2 way.
Caution #5 lap 160--RAIN--3 laps short of 1/2 way
They are pitting--sky looks clear to the west.
restart lap 180 ish
What held up this restart was not rain ,,, the jet dryers came out
to clear off the HUGE rubber chunks of the track
DW continues to come in and out of the garage area. not sure what the
problem is.
Martin is falling way back, he has a flat tire. He was in 3rd. Right
rear, shame.
Pressley comes in for an unschedualed stop on lap 201
Todd Bodine has a miss in the engine.
Caution #6 Lap 205 Derrick Cope hit hard in turn 2 wall.
You could hear the tire Blow. They had to remove him from the car.
He has a possible broken shoulder but is awake and alert. (that is
one BUSY hospital up there in GA)
Martin is having tire or other probs??
107 laps to go restart....
Kenny Irwin did not get up to speed?? and they (NASCAR) put him behind
the 5 car??
DW is now out?? Still do not know why??
Green flag pits started around lap 270, I am sorry I missed this due
to messages on ICQ (see note below regarding ICQ)
Kyle Petty went out of the race, blew a motor, he went on to say this
was a ford dominated race, (While Bobby LaBonte in a pontiac was leading?)
Gordon went in to the pits with only 10 laps to go. Tires are the culprit again. Changed them and sent him back out.
Burton is falling off the pace, tires slowing him up also.
Mark Martin also comes in for tires, RIGHT REAR AGAIN, Flat Damn then he went to leave the pits and welp the tire wants on?
Lake Speed spun with 4 laps to go, he did a complete half spin and kept
going, tire went down. (UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH)
Jeff Burton hit the wall, the race ended under caution.
