Welcome to the World Flintknapping Society - Dedicated to the craft of flintknapping. My name is Ray Harwood, flintknapper, and President of the World Flintknapping Society. I started this society with the hopes of bringing the knapping community together. With all the new regulations that have been closing in on our lithic sources, I see a need to have a voice. If we form a bond, we can make changes in our fild of art.
A society can not opperate alone, we need your help to make this work! We need Officers!
The elective officers are the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, Three Directors, with each being elected for a term of three years.
Routine Society business will be handled at quarterly Board/Committee meetings. These meetings will be held online. A short report will be included in the newsletter and on our online site. This will keep our members and knapping friends informed about our activities. Committees are formed by presidential appointees, and serve to support the societies numerous ongoing activities.
