worthbrew@aol.comWelcome to the Worth Brewery Web Site.
Worth Brewery was situated in the historic industrial town of Keighley in the North of England. Keighley has always been renowned as the home of high-quality real ale; the name of Timothy Taylor being familiar to most beer connoisseurs. Whilst Taylors always had a higher profile nationally than Worth Brewery, Worth too once had and may once again have a reputation for the quality and value of our beers. Two former Worth favourites, Alesman and Old Toss have been rebrewed by former partners John Mitchell and Bob Brown at a nearby local brewery for the forthcoming Upstairs Downstairs Beer Festival at the Cricketers Arms in the town.
On this site you will find the following:
The Brewery Arms, Keighley, former Worth Brewery tap, now independent.
The Cricketers Arms, Keighley.
3rd Upstairs, Downstairs Beer Festival, Thursday 24th April to Sunday 27th April 2008.
Current beer list for Cricketers Arms.
Live Music @ the Cricketers Arms.
NOTE: Most pages are peppered with images of pump clips and the pages for the two pubs contain photographs of the pubs. If you are using a slow connection, you might find it advantageous to set images to off in your browser.
This site was co-written by John Mitchell of Worth Brewery and Richard Candeland and designed and put together by Richard Candeland. If you have any comments about this site or about Worth Brewery, its beers and its pubs, please contact John Mitchell at the Cricketer's.
