The club maintains 50, 100, and 200 yard berms on the big bore range. There are 12 covered firing points with shooting benches. The 200 yard range includes "pits" for target operation during high power matches. During the outdoor season, monthly matches include running deer, lead bench-rest, rimfire benchrest, exploding-target offhand, a CMP/DCM or military-style course-of-fire match, and offhand and prone center-fire matches and others.
.22 Rimfire Benchrest Resumes in May 2007

Indoor/Outdoor Matches Currently Underway
During the indoor season (November through April), an indoor/outdoor match is run each Sunday starting at 10 am with a nominal entry fee, firing from the warmth of inside the high power house out to 200 yards. Targets are collected and scored after each 20-shot, 20 minute relay. Shooters are classified by NRA rules and shoot against others in their same rank. Cash prizes or trophies are awarded to the ranking shooters in each class. For more information contact Russ Burschsted.
Running Deer Resumes in June 2007
One section of the big bore range is devoted to the running deer match. This life-sized deer target runs on a track approximately 80 yards from the firing line. The shooter gets 4 shots at the target before it is scored. The scores are radioed to the firing line and marked on a target so the shooter can see where he's grouping - hitting the deer. This encourages match re-entry to try a new lead on the deer.
Eastern Mass. Rifle League Resumes Spring 2007
The Eastern Mass. Rifle League team competition matches are fired here each spring. This league is composed of 6-person rifle teams entered from clubs in the area. The series of three matches is fired on Saturdays beginning late April and running through early May. The course-of-fire is standing, 2 siters + 20 record shots for each shooter, with about 2 1/2 hours of block time for the team. The SR target is used and each team provides a scorer and a handler for target operation in the the pits. With about 20 teams participating, relays are scheduled to begin at 9:00 am and another at 12:30 pm.
