Entry Fee $420 for three bird:

  • Entry fee $120 for each entry, $100 pays for shipping, quarantine, perch etc. So total cost for each entry will be $220.

  •  Two Backup birds for every paid entry.

  •  Send three birds with total $420 (one entry fee $120 and three shipping, etc. costs of $300).

  • Birds could be sent to Mr. Bernie Mailberg address from:

       April 15 to April 30, 2005

  • There is only one shipment from US.

The Race

  • The maxim of 500 groups (one entry with two backups) will be accepted.

  • The oversea entry has to be born in the original country.

  • The BENZING computer clocks will be used to determine the race position.

  • All of birds will be vaccinated for PMV, Paratyphoid & POX.

  • The training will start at 5km, 10km, and gradually up to 100 miles, beginning of September.

  • Backup birds could be activate any time before the first race. If paid backup bird lost during training, the $120 entry fee will be returned to the breeder.

 

The Prizes

  • The prizes are based on 1000 paid entries.

  • 100% entry fee will be paid out. If total number of paid entries is over 1,000 birds, then there will be four more prizes of final races at $120 each for every 5 more entries. and

  • 30 Ace pigeon prizes are 20%, 12%, 8%, 6%, 5%, 4%, 3.5%, 3%, 2.5%, 2%, 11th -20th 1.8%, 21st –30th 1.6% of  60% total entry, 40% for the 4 individual races.

  • The average speed of the bird gained in 4 races will decide the position for the ACE Pigeons.

  • The race closing time is “half hour after sunset of the second day”. The race pigeon returned after the closing time will be disqualified from the ACE pigeon awards, but still is eligible to the final race prizes.

  • All of unpaid prizes will be distributed evenly to the Ace pigeon winners.

The Auctions

  • All birds in the prizes and all of oversea entries returned will be auctioned off,  50% pay back to the breeder. 50% pay for the costs of organizing the Beijing Classic Races.  (Note:  The above prize is listed as Yuan/Dollar and based on current exchange rate:  8.3:1)
