My main hobby is motorcycling and I ride a Triumph Bonneville
and also an Yamaha XS1100 sidecar outfit for taking the family out in. You can't
get three on a bike comfortably I've tried. If you've never ridden
an outfit I recommend it (most people cringe at this point),
its a barrel of laughs not always for the occupants but great
fun all the same. ! am also a member of Portsmouth and District
Sidecar Club who are affiliated to the Federation of Sidecar Clubs
I am a member of the Motorcycle
Action Group and promote motorcycling wherever and whenever
I can. If you ride a bike and aren't a member go to the link
here or on the links at the bottom of the page and check out
their site. If you don't ride a bike why not? I know they're
not to everbodys taste but if you've never tried then perhaps
you should, go check it out you might get hooked, and discover
a new way of life.
My winter hobby is green laning which generally involves draging
my bike out of the mud after falling off in a huge puddle. I
am a member of the Trail Riders Fellowship
and a few of us meet up on a sunday and ride the lanes of surrey, hampshire
and sussex.
Stranger Things
I am also a bit of a chat addict if you want to
catch up with me I am usually sitting under a tree by a lake
in Mystic gardens. If you're a fellow AOL user
then type Keyword Mystic Gardens and drop in for a bit of mysticism
you never know what you might learn. On the subject of mystics
I read Runes if you're not sure what they are then check out
the picture below or the links to sites on Runes.
Basically Runes are glyphs (figures or letters) that are carved
into a material. Most were carved for mystical purposes divination
being one. Runes have travelled far and wide across the world
and been modified and transformed for local use. They were/are
used as a writing tool and are represented here as in the Elder
Futhark (F U Th A R K) which are the first six letters of the
runic alphabet. I have a set of Viking Runes which I use for
divining and are the same as the ones in the picture. If you're
interested in them check out the links to people who can explain
it much better than me here.
