Welcome to the website of erotic romance author Jennifer Dunne.
Here you'll find author news, excerpts of current and future releases, and bonus features about the research or writing of my books.
Summon the Masters, the last anthology offering from The Bondage Babes, will be available in trade paperback in time for the Romantic Times convention in April. Although still strongly BDSM, we've added a touch of paranormal elements this time around. Well, okay, my novella, "Life Sentence", has more than a touch of the paranormal. It's downright drenched in it!
Samantha Taylor expected the erotic art book to offer her an escape, not release Master Giacomo. Italian, hunky, and a skilled Master, Giacomo is a triple-threat devoted to giving Sam the ultimate pleasure as his submissive. Sam already let one man control her life, and she was damned if she'd let another man command her, no matter how he made her body burn. But Giacomo really is damned, and if he fails, he'll spend an eternity in Hell.
Shadow Prince has been released in trade paperback, and copies are in the warehouse. I signed (and sold out of) all of the first-printing copies that were rushed down on the EC bus for last summer's three-city, five-store book tour. The new cover for the print release is absolutely gorgeous!
I'll be cutting back on my promotional activities this year, limiting myself to one non-local book signing or conference per month, and very little in the way of online chats or classes, to free up my time for writing something entirely new and different. (Because, you know, my work doesn't span enough genres...) I'm sure I'll drop a tantalizing hint or three in my blog, which is where you can find all my latest news.
"5 cups. Written with wonderful attention to detail, Shadow Prince is an engrossing and compelling read. Filled with magic and action, each scene hits the reader between the eyes and in the heart. Angie and Reynart are at odds for most of the story, but are forced to work together to save his world and hers from [an evil mage]. With the help of another mage, Beryl, and minstrel named Kerrim; they race against the clock to reach their destination. Along the way they battle evil, the elements, and themselves. I really enjoyed reading about this world and hope the author decides to visit it again." -- Jenn for Coffee Time Romances
"4 1/2 Stars. Jennifer Dunne proves once again that she is an excellent story teller. Quite the dark hero, Reynart is now a grown man with depths and a hardness to him that come with age. Angie is no longer the young and naive girl she was 10 years ago. She has matured into a strong and capable young lady. Indeed she is a beautiful match to Reynart’s darkness. The love between them is still present and needs very little to ignite it. Highly emotional, Shadow Prince will keep you enthralled until the very end. You don’t want to miss this one." -- Elise Lyn for eCataRomance Review
"9 Gargoyles. I've always believed the mark of a great author was his/her ability to leave readers wanting more. Jennifer Dunne is a superb author and the ending of Not Quite Camelot will have you shouting "No!" and hastily searching Cerridwen Press for details on book two.
[There] was so much about this tale I loved I don't know where to begin. Dunne creates a world familiar yet new, exciting and unique. The reader is immediately swept into the story, the internal politics and into the lives of Reynart and Angelique. And what a lovely strong, smart, caring hero and heroine they are. Angie may have no idea why she's in another world or even how she came to be there but that doesn't stop her from making a quick decision to trust Reynart. She learns his history, trusts and loves him completely. Your heart aches for Reynart as you learn his history and how he is treated.
A deeply emotional, adventurous, romantic fantasy...Not Quite Camelot is a keeper!"

"Think of Not Quite Camelot as a romantic, feminist, anti-Mallory.
I'm not a great fan of Arthurian mythology, so I was more than pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed Dunne's story. :) I love the characters. Angelique and I have too much in common (shy bookworms). And my sympathies aligned with Reynart the first time he appeared: brave, intelligent, either ignored or beaten by his father, loved only by his half-sister Ladria and the castle staff ... until Angelique appears. Alaric, the legitimate Prince, drew me in, too. Who does he choose: the half-brother who loves him or the cruel father who can grant him the throne which is (rightfully) his?
The unexpected revelation of the real villain's identity was a nice twist. I should have seen it coming, but didn't. :)
Did I mention the hot sex scenes? :)"

"Jennifer Dunne's Harvest Magic is set in the more mundane contemporary
world, but it is filled with magic. Ally is a witch who has moved in with her
widowed sister and her child to help take care of them. In the process, she
brings the family's organic farm to life, making it the most profitable in town.
Matt is a real estate mogul who used to design cornfield mazes. He's asked by
the town to turn Ally's field into a maze in order to raise money for the
town's schools. Ally is already looked upon by the townspeople with suspicion
fueled by jealousy. If they find out that she is an actual witch, the stuff
will really hit the fan! Matt and Ally have a combustible attraction that they
act on quite nicely. But will Matt stay with Ally once he learns her secret? I
found this story to be both rich and well thought-out. The story flowed
beautifully and naturally.
These [two] authors bring a lot to the table. The stories [in the anthology Seasons of Magick] have wonderful
story lines and are swelteringly sexy!"
