Although both Mongolia and Inner Mongolia and even some other countries produce considerable amounts of Mongol-speaking Movies and TV series, but there are few of them available in outside of Mongolia/Inner Mongolia.

The only one movie available in the major video stores ( like Blockbuster) in the US is :

It is worth to take a look , if you interested in the Mongols. You can learn much about the Mongols from this movie.

Another Movie about the Mongols is “A Mongolian tale”, which was played in Lincoln Plazza in New York City for a month along with the “The English Patient” and “Kolya” from April to May, 1997. I hope this movie will come to the Video stores soon.

Two awards winner in the 1995 Montreal International Film Festival
Starring Tengger from Inner Mongolia, a famous Pop singer and Naranhuar, one of the most famous actress of Inner Mongolia
with other actors and actresses from Mongolia. Most of the film was shot in Mongolia.
Directed by Xie Fei, he is considered as one of the most famous director of PRC.
Subtitled in English.
You will be intoxicated by the wonderful nature and beautiful songs of the Mongols.
