Coaches,

The entire staff of the Greensboro YMCA would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our 31st Annual Greensboro YMCA Invitational Basketball Tournament.  This year's tournament will be held Friday, March 10th through Sunday, March 12th, 2006, in Greensboro, North Carolina.

This year, we will be hosting 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, and 16U age brackets in both boys and girls divisions. AAU age guidelines will be used. Age divisions that do not have enough registrants entered will have the teams moved to the next age division.  Each division will consist of a Single Elimination Tournament Championship Play-off. The play-off will have a consolation bracket, guaranteeing each team a minimum of three games. Play will begin on Friday (3/10/05) and conclude on Sunday (3/12/05) afternoon with Championship games and an awards ceremony.

The entry fee is $200.00 per team.  In 2005 we had over 100 teams participate, this year, we are expecting over 150, so get your registrations in early!  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at the address or numbers above.

Sincerely,

Heather Whitsett
