Luke's Lightsaber ANH version

Graflex 3-Cell flash handle and one of my conversion kits

The lightsaber given to Luke by Obi-Wan in Star Wars was constructed from a Graflex 3-Cell flash handle. The flash handle was modified by adding rubber grips, a belt clip and a part from an old calculator. This type of flash handle can be found at most classic camera shows for about $10.
