Predicting the Future
Predicting the future is an easy thing once it is understood. Most Moon Mages join the guild not understanding this powerful ability they possess. The following will explain everything there is to predicting futures.
Step one: Find someone to predict their future. If you can't find someone use yourself.
Step two: Look for a place with a ceiling. Just find a spot outside somewhere where there are no clouds.
Step three: Observe the moons or the sun till you learn something of the future.
Step four: Type PREDICT USAGE. This will give you instructions on how to predict. Go to the link labeled, Stars and Moons. Look up the moons and find the moon you observed or go to stars and find the sun.
Step five: If you have the clear vision spell, cast it before predicting. It helps determining which skill you predicted.
Step six: Start predicting by putting everything you learn in step 4 together. Try not to talk or move while you predict. You can fail if you do so.
Step seven: If you got 3 visions and some other things after predicting it worked! Now you will need to examen what you saw to learn more about your prediction.
-Vision 1 The first vision tells you what skill group you predicted. You won't have to worry about this unless you did a random vision. For example if you see yourself glowing with energy it is a magical skill.
-Vision 2 The second vision tells you how strong your prediction was. This is determined by how hot what you saw was. The hotter the stronger, the colder the weaker. For example if you saw a frost covered tree it is a weak prediction but still something. If you saw a fire-breathing drake then it is a very strong prediction.
-Vision 3 The final vision tells you how long the prediction will last. This is the hardest one to figure out sometimes. Here are some examples,
You see a mouse being stalked by a cat.
This vision is a quick prediction. The mouse will be killed by the cat really soon, and when it does the prediction is over.
You see two people sharing wedding vows.
This vision will last very long. The two people will be together forever. Which is long, but the prediction won't last forever.
After the 3 visions you will get a feeling of warmth or a shiver. A feeling of warmth is for the good. It will act as a bonus to the skill you predicted. A shiver is not good. It will act a curse and will decrease your ability in the skill by however strong it was.
If you are lucky (or if you have lot's of scholarship and the clear vision spell on) you will be able to find out what skill you predicted. It can be any skill. Sometimes you might predict the trading skill on yourself. This doesn't mean you should go out and trade some goods. You could try but only traders can do this. It won't help you at all.
