Guided tours

The Memorial Site itself offers tours or support for doing tours only to individual visitors. Visitor groups are referred to some independent organizations. These providers of guided tours normally expect a contribution from their participants - either a donation or a flat-rate fee. Specifics may be settled when making an arrangement.
School classes may book a tour guided by a teacher from the Dachau area. Currently 6 such teachers have a limited amount of free time to guide these tours. Arrangements are done by Josef-Effner-Gymnasium in Dachau, Tel. (08131) 6664720. Early reservations are highly recommended.
Groups of all kinds may book a tour through Dachauer Forum, Tel. (08131) 996880, Fax (08131) 9968810. Early reservation necessary too. These guided tours last for more than 2 hours and include afterwards the option of a discussion. Further offers of guided tours for groups may be applied for at the protestant Church of Reconcilation, Tel. (08131) 13644, at the Förderverein für internationale Jugendbegegnung (Sponsors for international youth's reunion), Tel. (08131) 83303, and at our organization - Verein "Zum Beispiel Dachau" (no phone contact, English and German tours only).
