Episode 12: The Performance of a lifetime!

     Within the castle walls, Constance could hear d'Artagnan but she could not see him. She recognized the familiar sound of the grindstone sharpening the blades of his skates.

     Suddenly, there was a loud crash and d'Artagnan could be heard swearing!! Something blue was seeping out onto the brick floor from under the carved wooden door. (They'd clean that up later!)

     From behind the closed door, d'Artagnan's words were muffled as he told her -

     "Go outside and wait for me by the frozen pond. Close your eyes, and don't open them till I say so!!"

     What she was about to see would take her breath away!!

	It was almost the performance of a lifetime.....
But, that would come later......
