Gold Digger!
Gold Digger, a comic by Fred Perry, is my absolute favorite on the
planet <g>. Gold Digger is a Manga-esque book (i.e., drawn in a "Japanese"
type style), but is much more. Unlike some similar efforts, which only
use anime-like character designs, Gold Digger manages to accomplish the
same "feel" as manga, especially comedy like Ranma1/2, through
both visual effects, cultural references (American culture, mind you) and
an engaging (if unlikely) plot, creating a unique read.
Now, you're probably asking, "What is this crazy thing about"?
Okay, lets see if I can sum this up... Gina Diggers is a buxom Archaeologist
with incredible intelligence. Her equally buxom adopted sister Brittany
Diggers (a.k.a, Cheetah) is a werecheetah. Together they go on adventures
to such places as El Dorado, Atlantis, and even other times.
Interested yet? Okay, Pa Diggers is an Arch-Wizard, and Mom is a Sword-Master
from another dimension. Grandpa is an Undead Lich-King. Their sister Brianna
is a cross between the two created by a magical botch. Cheetah's engaged
to Stripe, the prince of El Dorado. Throw in demons, evil sorcerers, a
time-traveling dog and his attack boy, leprechauns in power armor, ninjas
by the handful, and genocidal aliens. How's that for the first 34 issues?
And you know what? Fred Perry makes all this fun insanity make SENSE <g>
I'm going to have to pull the summaries. One, i haven't had a chance
to update them in, oh, months. Two, most of the people coming here know
about the comic anyway. And three, there are other people who can write
these better then me. I haven't tossed what I've done so far, but I'm not
continuing it unless everyone (ha) tells me otherwise.

add, just have to make 'em a bit more web-friendly.

first publishers of translated manga in America, and they are the biggest
publishers of American made manga like Gold Digger and Ninja High School.

page has a lot of original art by the creator of Gold Digger, Fred Perry.

- This is the home page of the creative team behind the coming Gold Digger
